Die Idee entstand aus der Sehnsucht nach echten Wintern.

Seit meiner Kindheit liebe ich das Winterwetter – Schnee und Kälte. Die Suche nach dem echten Winter führte mich vor 27 Jahren zum ersten Mal nach Lappland – und es wurde eine Woche voller Wunder: Schneemobilfahren, Eisfischen, Saunagänge, Nordlichter und vieles mehr.

Ich habe mich in diese unberührte Region verliebt, und so entstand die Idee, mehr Zeit hier zu verbringen und etwas Eigenes aufzubauen.

Als ich meiner Frau Andrea von der Idee erzählte, stellte sie eine Bedingung: Unser Zuhause muss in der Nähe von Wasser liegen, da dies ihr Lieblingselement ist. Wir suchten über Monate nach dem perfekten Standort in Lappland. Ein Tipp von unserem finnischen Architekten Mikko brachte uns dann an den Rahajärvi-See. Jari, unser genialer Hausbauer, verwirklichte unseren Traum auf perfekte Art und Weise und Bruno, unser Fotograf, setzte das Cottage und die Umgebung ins richtige Licht.

Warum NASTE VILLAS ? „Naste“ bedeutet in der samischen Sprache „Stern“ und Sterne haben in der Sami Kultur eine wichtige Bedeutung. Deshalb haben wir in unserem Logo auch einen Stern abgebildet. Die Samen sind übrigens das indigene Volk Lapplands.

Hier oben verliert die Zeit ihre Hektik. Vergiss deinen Terminkalender und lass dich vom natürlichen Rhythmus des Nordens treiben. Die Tage werden nicht in Stunden gemessen, sondern in magischen Momenten, Momenten der Stille und dem faszinierenden Spiel des Lichts.

Atme tief durch, komm zur Ruhe und finde inmitten der endlosen Weite Lapplands wieder ganz zu dir selbst.
